All $50 application fees and registration fees are nonrefundable.

Note: Supervision fees for the Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy program are included in tuition. For all other programs, supervision fees are paid directly to the faculty supervisor. Please consult your program for more information.

Billing notifications are emailed on the 1st of the month to the preferred email address indicated on the student’s enrollment agreement form and are due on the 30th of the same month.
There are two ways to pay tuition and fees at WSP:
All tuition and fee costs must be paid by January 30 by 11:59 PM (unless previously arranged).
If other payment arrangements are needed, please contact Dr. Elia Tamplin (etamplin@wspdc.org), Director of Education and Membership.
Note: Approved scholarship funds will be used to make the required down payment (if necessary) and future payments until depleted for all installment plans.
Students may pay their bill to the School in US funds through check at a US bank, cashiers check, credit or debit card, or money order. Payment may be conducted online, by mail, by phone, or in person. Please be sure to mail your payment early enough for the School to receive it by the established deadline.

Payment by credit or debit card may be made by call the Washington School of Psychiatry Administrative Office at 202-237-2700.
By Employer
If your employer is paying the tuition for your program, course, or conference, please ensure the following are included on the company purchase order or government training authorization form:
Failure to submit payment on time may result in incurred fees and interest. A $5.00 late fee is charged for any tuition paid more than ten (10) days late. Any student who does not make installment payments by the scheduled due dates will be charged a late fee of $5.00 for each payment that is late.
Additionally, the School reserves the right to cancel the terms of agreement if a student fails to make any scheduled tuition payment within ten (10) calendar days of its due date. Upon such cancellation, the balance of tuition owed for the program will become due and payable immediately, and the student will not be entitled to any refund unless the default is cured within ten (10) calendar days of notice from the School.
Returned checks and electronic payments: A service fee of $50.00 will be levied on all returned checks or electronic payments if the bank is not at fault. Multiple returned payments may result in loss of ability to submit check/online payments and cancellation of this agreement.

The Washington School of Psychiatry (WSP) is non-profit institution with limited financial resources. However, we are committed to offering training program scholarships based on need and merit. Scholarships are awarded for one academic year and are granted on a first-come, first-serve basis until funding is exhausted. Scholarship amounts subject to budgetary consideration and may be changed at any time without prior notice.
Note: Students must submit a new application each academic year.

No funding can be offered prior to admission.
This scholarship serves to provide opportunities for African American students pursuing education at the Washington School of Psychiatry in the Child and Adolescent program.
Vivian Boul was a psychotherapist and teacher who worked in Washington DC for many decades. Born in Brooklyn in 1926, she moved to DC in 1951 where she first worked for the Children’s Home Society of Virginia and later the Jewish Social Service Agency.
In 1966, Mrs. Boul joined the psychology department at Catholic University where she established and directed a therapeutic nursery school that functioned as an outpatient child guidance clinic. The program served as a practicum for graduate students in the university’s clinical doctoral program.In 1990, she joined the staff of the Washington School of Psychiatry in the Child and Adolescent Training Program. She had a private practice for children and adults from 1976 until she retired in 2009. She has two children, Nina Rasch a special education teacher, and David Boul, a television producer.

The Meyer Treatment Center provides low cost access to mental health services. It is an out-of-network facility for insurance purposes.
